Business Principles Programme
In March 2008, SG CIB set up an employee training programme on 5 "Business Principles" to be taken into account in their professional activities and in all decision-making processes. Based on the Group's own values of Innovation, Team Spirit and Professionalism, these principles reflect the values and maxims that are part and parcel of the bank's corporate culture:
- The customer comes first
- We are personally responsible
- Being professional requires rigour and transparency
- We value courage and discipline
- Our teams are our strength
A year and a half down the line, more than 12,000 division managers and employees have taken part in the online training and in the related information and chat sessions in order to ensure that these Business Principles are not just another ritual but form the bedrock of the bank's day-to-day activities.
