Know Your Customer

SG CIB's KYC "Know Your Customer" unit has a global structure. Its role is to examine all new customer files and oversee the periodic review of existing customers according to a risk approach.
The unit also manages the core data in the division’s customer reference system and, since November 2007, the categorisation of investment clients in accordance with the MiFID directive.
