Adie and Societe Generale

Societe Generale actively contributes to the development of microcredit through an agreement signed with ADIE (French Association for Economic Interest) in 2006. In 2010, the Group granted the association a credit line of € 1,674,000, donated a subsidy of € 110,000 and put € 10,000 towards its "micro-credit weeks".
Present from the outset of ADIE’s first operations in the West Indies in 2007, Société Générale de Banques aux Antilles (SGBA) has signed a partnership agreement with the Guadeloupian delegation of ADIE. A € 100,000 loan expiring on June 30, 2010 was granted in 2008 but has not been renewed.
Societe Generale Caledonienne de Banque signed a partnership agreement with ADIE's Caledonian delegation in 2006. The delegation currently disposes of two credit lines: one envelope of XFP 70 million (approximately € 0.59 million) expiring on December 31, 2011, and another envelope of XPF 170 million (approximately € 1.42 million) expiring on June 30, 2012.
The Group has also granted two credit lines to Banque de Polynesie: one of XFP 15 million (approximately € 0.13 million) expiring on January 1, 2012, and a second of XPF 11 million (approximately € 0.09 million) expiring on August 1, 2012.
